BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE
• State law requires every jurisdiction to
submit a General Plan annual progress
report (GP APR) each April
• The GP APR discusses the City’s efforts to
implement the General Plan
General Plan Items to Report for 2024
• Circulation Element Update: The City’s
consultant has completed traffic counts and
is currently creating appropriate traffic
models
• Noise Element: Staff is preparing a draft
Noise Ordinance to address construction
noise and hours of operation. Staff will
present this item for City Council discussion
and possible action in 2025.
