1. CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING - CALL TO ORDER/ ROLL CALL Mayor Elward called the special meeting to order at 3: 04 p.m., the notice for which being legally noticed on June 23, 2022.
Present: Jackie Elward, Mayor
Samantha Rodriguez, Vice Mayor
Gerard Giudice, Councilmember
Susan Hollingsworth- Adams, Councilmember
Pam Stafford, Councilmember
Absent: None.
Staff present: City Manager Jenkins, Assistant City Manager Schwartz, City Attorney Kenyon, Assistant City Attorney Rudin, Director of Development Services Pawson, Public Safety Director Mattos and City Clerk Lopez Cuevas.
2. CLOSED SESSION
A. Public Comments: Peter Alexander spoke of litigation, the constitution, foreign and domestic enemies.
B. Mayor Elward made the closed session announcement pursuant to Government Code 54957. 7 to consider: Conference with Legal Counsel — Significant Exposure to Litigation pursuant to Government Code § 54956. 9( d)( 2): ( One Case) C. Mayor Elward reconvened the Joint Special Meeting open session to report on Closed Session( Government Code § 54957. 1) indicating no reportable action.
3. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Elward adjourned the special meeting at 4: 45 p. m.
