5.1. Canvass of Results - 2024 Municipal Election
Memo from City Clerk Carmen Avalos recommending the City Council adopt RESOLUTION NO. 24-398 CANVASSING VOTES OF THE NOVEMBER 5, 2024 GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION AND DECLARING THE RESULTS THEREOF PER PLACER COUNTY OFFICIAL ELECTIONS RESULTS;
declaring Vice Mayor-elect in Council District 5, Karen Alvord, as the candidate receiving the highest number of votes cast in her district. After adoption of the resolution, staff recommends that the Official Oath of Office be administered to the incoming Councilmembers for Districts 1, 3, and 5.
