I am a licensed psychologist in independent practice, a community mental health advocate, & a resident of District 7. As such, I am writing to encourage you to fully support the recommendations for Fiscal Y ear 2021/22 Midyear Budget Priorities as proposed by the Measure U Community Advisory Committee. Direct financial investments to support Sacramento residents in maintaining housing through mortgage and rental assistance; adding to the current allocations for Homeless Housing Initiatives and Respite Centers, Project Homekey, & transitional housing centers; senior services; youth services; mapping place-based investments; & branding Measure U funding investments. Furthermore, please oppose the use of one-time funds to supplant expenditures intended to be funded by Measure U. Thank you for your consideration.
