Issue Detail: Councilmember Loloee has withdrawn the call-up review of Z21-038, pursuant to Sacramento Planning and Development Code section 17.228.900.J.
The applicant requested a Conditional Use Permit for Cannabis Production, specifically for non-volatile manufacturing and distribution, in an existing ±1,584-square-foot commercial building on approximately 0.11 acres in the Light Industrial Zone in the Del Paso / Arden Way Special Planning District (M-1-SPD). The project also includes Site Plan and Design Review for renovations to the existing building and the project site.
The exterior modifications include building renovation and site improvements and will also meet the additional requirements of a cannabis manufacturing facility near an existing light-rail station, including a bench, a shade tree and new landscaping.
The Zoning Administrator approved the project on October 22, 2021, and the project was called up on October 25, 2021. The call-up has been withdrawn after further community outreach and correspondence with the applicant.
In accordance with Planning and Development Code section 17.228.900.J, any other member of the City Council shall have ten (10) days from the date of this meeting to file a request for call-up review. This site remains in Council District 2 with the recent district boundary changes.
