I tried posting to the website but I’m not sure that it took.
There has been quite the issue on Montgomery Way about whether to move forward with historic district designation for the street. It’s been discussed in depth and while some strongly support, there are a number of us who strongly oppose, with a number being neutral. After our last in-depth discussion moderated by Councilmember Jay Schneier, the consensus was that INSTEAD of compulsory street wide historic district designation that those interested in historic designation should INDIVIDUALLY list their homes. It is that spirit that we support the designation of these individual homes as Historic.
