When a position of this importance and 4-year duration receives only one applicant, something is wrong with the process. This matter needs to be pulled, and a wider net cast for applicants.

This project is going to be great for the adjacent businesses. This is the transformative change that we need in the city. Please, more projects like this one throughout Sacramento.

Hello, I recently learned that SacRT is making several schedule changes that severely reduce routes. In particular, the reduction of the 134 McKinley Commuter route impacts me. The service is being reduce from 5 times of service in the morning and 4 in the afternoon to 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. This is a huge problem for individuals like me who rely on the 134 to commute to and from work each day. the afternoon reduction is especially inconvenient because the only service will now be leaving downtown at 2:30pm, a time when few people are getting off of work. I strongly urge Sacramento City Council to allocate funding to ensure that bus routes like the 134 maintain robust service for Sacramento residents. Public transportation is important for those who cannot drive, is more affordable than driving in many instances, and is essential to prioritize as we combat climate change.

I recently saw that Elk Grove is approving pygmy goats as pets (in line with locations such as Portland and San Francisco). I feel a similar law would benefit Sacramento's urban agriculture and local food's movement greatly.
