Recommendation: Pass a Motion confirming Personnel and Public Employees Committee recommendations for the following board and commission appointments: 1) Preservation Commission: Daniel Herrick (Seat F – member representing the public at large (with preference to an individual with training or experience in historic preservation or urban planning) demonstrating knowledge of the Secretar y of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties and the California Historical Building code).

Issue Detail: As required by City Charter section 230, board and commission appointments made by the Mayor must be confirmed by the City Council. Per staff’s oversight, the wrong seat was written into record on 02/15/2022. Daniel Herrick should be in Seat F, as corrected.

Commission/Committee Action: The Personnel and Public Employees Committee held interviews for vacancies identified on one or more Boards and Commissions. After consideration, candidates were nominated and forwarded to the Mayor for Appointment, which now requires council confirmation.
