Subject: Del Rio Trail tree plan

Please support the proposed tree removal and replacement plan for the Del Rio Trail. As I understand it, this is Item 19 on the Council’s agenda for Tuesday, April 19.

The trail is important to our South Land Park community and to the entire city. The tree plan is a key step toward increasing safe, alternative non-motorized transportation options for everyone from students to senior citizens. The completed project also will provide a significant link in our growing regional trail system.

Thank you for your past support for the Del Rio Trial and for considering Item 19.

Jake Henshaw

I figure approval is a no-brainer — but I do want to acknowledge the exceptional job the planners did, including their very thorough report.
