Subject: Sacramento City Council Meeting , May 31, 2022 ,5 P.M. ,#18. Vacation of 12th Street between L Street and N Street.

12th Street should not be closed between L Street and N Street . This is the route that the parades take past the Capital. It would be closed forever. The plan to make another underground parking garage is a huge waste of money. Traffic would be congested on other streets. Many trees given as gifts from other countries would be ripped out. The grassy areas in front of the Capital which people enjoy would be replaced by concrete and contribute to further rises in temperature. People would not be able to enjoy or have access to the Capital as much anymore.
