I am a 42 year resident of North Sac. I am outraged at the way my councilman, Mr. Loloee, was treated by Mayor Steinberg at the May 31 meeting simply because he dared to challenge the mayor regarding a Bridge Housing plan. I encourage everyone to review this bizarre conduct on the part of the mayor. It was simply frightening. I consider it an assault on the democratic process. His sarcastic laughter, shouting, boasting about “knowing” the governor is the stuff of bullies and tyrants. The very next day, Ms. Clift, reporter for the Bee made numerous calls to people in North Sac looking for dirt on Loloee. This is what an organized group of writers should be concerned about, not some half-baked residency question concocted by the unholy alliance of the mayor and his friends at the Bee.

I am a resident of the second district. The Sacramento Bee published an article on June 17 and an editorial on June 18, calling into question the issue of Sean Loloee's residency in the second council district . The Bee's investigation raises several serious and credible concerns. I have three requests:

I request the City Council direct the City Attorney and the City Manger to conduct a comprehensive investigation into Mr. Loloee's residences during his time in office to determine if he has, in fact, been a resident of the second council district during his entire term.

I ask that the City Council suspend Mr. Loloee's authority to participate in Council deliberations and decisions until the investigation is complete .

As a related matter, I ask that the City Council work with the City Clerk's office to clarify and make transparent the City Clerk's process for certifying the residences of candidates, elected officials, and political appointees.

Thank you.

I am significantly concerned about Councilmember Sean Loloee holding the District 2 City Council seat when he does not even reside in the District he is to represent. How can this City Council allow this to happen? I implore every member of the dais to urge Mr. Loloee to vacate his seat.

On Friday a Sacramento Bee investigation found that Councilmember Sean Loloee does not even live in District 2, which he represents on the Sacramento City Council dais:
https://www.sacbee.com/news/local/article262462632.html In fact, he appears to live in an entirely different county.

A 2007 FBI investigation resulted in then-District-Attorney Kamala Harris filing charges against San Francisco Supervisor Ed Jew for breaking the same laws that Councilmember Loloee appears to be shirking. In 2014, former California state Senator Roderick Wright was found guilty of voter fraud for maintaining a residency setup similar to Loloee's.

The Councilmember must immediately step down from his position, and if he refuses the rest of Council needs to declare his seat vacant. I hope every member on the dais--including those seeking higher office this November-- takes this seriously.

There needs to be an investigation into Sean Loloee and his actual primary place of residency. District 2 deserves someone who will represent them and help solve the issues at hand.

I am very concerned about the allegations that have come about councilmember Sean Loloee. I think there should be an investigation as to his current primary address. If he is committing fraud than he should be forced to resign. Those who live in that district deserve more than anyone else to have representation that is advocating for there community.

Allegations that District 2 Councilmember Sean Loloee has fraudulently established residency to be eligible for a Council seat, and has also committed voter fraud by registering to vote at an address that he doesn't reside at are very serious and should be referred to law enforcement for a full investigation.
