We need this and every possible affordable housing project. We can't keep agreeing with that principle but disqualifying every project that comes up. Please support this project and the next ones too.

We need affordable housing. Build it now, build it everywhere, and build it here. Thanks.

I am a District 4 resident and voter and I encourage you to support this transfer. We desperately need more affordable, below market rate projects if we are ever going to solve homelessness. Please vote yes on this item.

I am a District 7 resident and a member of House Sacramento, a pro-housing group in the region. We support the transfer of this city property to the state for the purpose of maximizing the amount of affordable housing at the BRIDGE project on this site and the adjoining parcel. We have supported the housing development throughout its project lifespan and this is an important final step in securing additional homes and childcare for the site. We can't afford not to approve this excellent project. If we don't, we will be taking a step backward in solving our housing and homelessness crises. Thank you.

I oppose giving this property to the State of California. I prefer that the City keep this property for PUBLIC USE.
District 2 is already sadly lacking in adequate parks and public space. The addition of four new housing projects in and around Woodlake will further impact deficiencies in the District bringing thousands of new residents to D2 with NO ADDITIONAL PUBLIC SPACE. When is this going to stop? --Michele

My names Luis Romo, born in the Sacramento area and now living in Sacramento as resident, I highly support encourage this project and more others like it. Building housing & building density specific housing helps us to tackle climate change and it helps us bring together people to build a much bigger and more diverse community. I hope you all support it as well! Thank you.

If we can’t agree to build housing on underutilized and unused public lands at no cost to the City, we are never going to solve our housing crisis. This project is directly adjacent to a light rail station and along a commercial corridor - the very places our plans and policies have been attempting to direct housing for decades. This infill housing will improve residents’ mobility, reduce VMT, improve local air quality, and reduce carbon emissions.
This is the low hanging fruit that we need to take advantage of as a community to begin to address the housing crisis. We need to maximize housing opportunities at sites like this and take full advantage of resources made available by the State. Cutting 20 units here and 20 units there is how we got into this crisis - its not a path we can use to dig it ourselves out.

The Community wants to keep this resource. Recently The Woodlake Community Clubhouse was Leased out to a Private Business. D2 Recreational and Park Space is currently dwindling. This would be the 4th space taken from D2 in recent years in an underserved Community already. Woodlake wants to keep this space for future generations. It is also an Historical Building and should not be taken from the Community. Woodlake needs more Space. Stop Redlining District 2 Council or you are all at fault. Also I don't believe you are following proper procedure. Please have the City Manager check into this before any vote is taken.

I support my Councilmember, Sean Loloee, and his efforts to stand up for District 2's best interests. I feel he has been more accessible and responsive to my concerns in his year-and-a-half in office than the last Councilmember was in eight. With a home and business here, Councilmember Loloee has a vested interest in D2; and it's clear that he cares. I look forward to Councilmember Loloee continuing to represent me as he advances our vision for the good of the District.

I am also in strong support of MY councilman, Sean Loloee. I think it an outrage how the mayor treated him at the May 31 meeting which triggered a bogus “investigation “ by the Bee the very next day. He has a home and two businesses in D2. I know he has faced threats and so have some of his supporters. One active woman has had her car windows broken SIX times, and I have had people speed down my street several times, shouting threats. He needs to keep his residence a secret and place his family where they will be safe. I don’t believe any other council person faces this situation. This whole mess is an attempt to disenfranchise the people of North Sacramento, another in a long line of ignominious and deplorable acts we have had to face.

I Support Sean Loloee. He owns a home is District 2 and he represents me.
I do not want anyone else representing me that I did not vote for.
