1-Description/Analysis:

Issue Detail: With the pandemic reaching its third year, many people have begun slowly transitioning back into normal society with many wondering how to stay safe.

With the current vaccine campaign, many people in high socioeconomic communities have been able to utilize those resources from the city and receive their vaccines with confidence and knowledge. The main concern now lies in the people who are unvaccinated due to a lack of access to resources. This can be due to a lack of transportation, having no access to online resources, or even just a lack of basic knowledge about vaccines.

With many marginalized communities not being vaccinated, having campaigns that are separated district by district and centered around targeting marginalized members of the community are essential in helping raise the number of citizens getting vaccinated in Sacramento.

In the PSA we created we talked with many different professionals from the City of Sacramento, and a doctor from UC Davis Mind Institute who explained how and why marginalized groups are unvaccinated and what we as a community can do to help raise the number. We also created a small social media call to action that is centered around helping destroy misinformation about vaccines.
