I call on the City Council to censure Katie Valenzuela, Angelique Ashby and Jeff Harris for their deliberate abuse of their powers and positions on the Personnel and Public Employee Committee in jailing a political opponent attempting to qualify for a seat on the Utilities Rate Advisory Committee. Please reference my comment on the nomination item and the approval of minutes from their last meeting. Also, let the finalized minutes reflect Ashby's comment regarding other applicants... I'm thinking you guys should probably make your complete disregard for individual rights as clear as possible to the voting public... Should you require documentation of these events I can provide you with screenshots of direct communications, court filings outlining the evidence and a personal statement that documents Karina Talamantes being involved in a similar circumstance. Happy Election Y ear!!! Great job shielding us from scandals, guys...
