I have been denied my ability to participate in the process by the members of this Committee. Katie Valenzuela had me arrested for "Not doing anything illegal. He's just so creepy." Due to this statement, I was not in good standing at the time applications were reviewed. She should go to jail for that alone. Angelique Ashby referenced these events at the end of the interview process during their last meeting when saying that there were people unable to attend... This was a thinly veiled attempt to force me to fall in line until after the election is over.
These people have no right taking my ability to participate in local government. I Interned with the Schwarzenegger Administration, have sat on legislative bodies before, have worked campaign politics throughout the state, and was on the Board of Directors with the Los Angeles Paralegal Association. This is nothing less than a violation of my individual rights. They changed the application process after I submitted for the URAB E Seat, did not respond to my inquiries through the clerk or Jeff Harris, and Angelique Ashby has been forced to change her ballot designation due to her lies about her own resume.... Ashby has no place chairing this committee... I say screw you to each of you for abusing your positions like this. We can now see that Democrats have decided that their power is best used by putting Republican sympathizers in jail. Even when they're liberal and Steinberg had them banished for crossing the line...

I call on the City Council to censure Katie Valenzuela, Angelique Ashby and Jeff Harris for their deliberate abuse of their powers and positions on this Committee in jailing a political opponent attempting to qualify for a seat on the Utilities Rate Advisory Committee. Please reference my comment on the nomination item and the approval of minutes from last meeting. Also, let the finanlized minutes reflect Ashby's comment regarding other applicants...
I already recorded the video for my records, but you guys should probably make your complete disregard for individual rights as clear as possible to the voting public...
