I have been working with Offices of Councilmembers Guerra and Vang to pursue a comprehensive Language Access Policy. The 16 recommendations should be supported. I hope to continue to help staff to widen the outreach to Spanish speakers and to encourage the Council to memorialize a policy in an ordinance or resolution.
