Recommendation: 1) Adopt a Resolution confirming the Mayor’s appointment of Councilmembers to Council standing committees, and various regional authorities, agencies and committees; and 2) adopt a Resolution confirming the Mayor’s appointment of Councilmembers to the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District and Sacramento Area Sewer District Boards as required by SB1663.

Issue Detail: This action is to confirm the Mayor’s 2023 appointments of members of the City Council to serve on Council standing committees and various regional authorities, agencies, and committees as shown on the roster that is included as Exhibit A to the Resolutions included in the report package.
Policy Considerations: This action is consistent with Council Rules of Procedure, Chapter 11, and is done yearly or when circumstances require a new or replacement appointee. The appointments

must be confirmed by a majority vote of the City Council.
Economic Impacts: None.
Environmental Considerations: This action is not a project that is subject to CEQA because it is an organizational or administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment. (CEQA Guidelines §15378(b)(5).)
