Issue Detail: As required by City Charter section 230, board and commission appointments are made by the Mayor with the concurrence of the City Council.
On February 14, 2023 the Personnel and Public Employees Committee conducted interviews for applicants to the Sacramento Disability Advisory Commission, the Preservation Commission, the Active Transportation Commission, the Measure U Community Advisory Committee, the Utility Rate Advisory Committee, and the Parks and Community Enrichment Commission.
On February 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., the Personnel and Public Employees Committee will meet to discuss candidates eligibility, and recommend appointment of candidates to the Mayor and Council, which requires confirmation by the City Council.
