1-Description/Analysis
2-PRC001004 Contract Amendment
Description/Analysis
Issue Detail: UBS was awarded Contract No. PRC001004 for janitorial services at City Hall, 300 Richards, Sacramento Valley Station, the corporation yards, and other City buildings. UBS was the lowest bidder for these buildings as determined by Request for Bids No. B20061521002. The contract began on September 1, 2020, and expires on August 31, 2025.
A forecast of current spending trends indicates that there is not sufficient funding on the contract to continue through the expiration date and that the not-to-exceed maximum amount of the contract needs to be increased.
This Agreement is in compliance with Ordinance 2024-0016, passed by the City Council on June 25, 2024, amending Section 3.56.070 of the Sacramento City Code related to Janitorial and Security Guard Contracts.
