RESOLUTION NO. _________ (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE EMERGENCY CONNECTIVITY FUND GRANT REIMBURSEMENT AWARD IN THE AMOUNT OF $24,000, AND AUTHORIZE RECEIPT OF FUNDS BE IT RESOLVED, that the Salinas City Council does hereby authorize the City Manager or his designee to accept funding in the amount of $24,000 from the Emergency Connectivity Fund grant reimbursement award; and establish the Emergency Connectivity Fund appropriation of $24,000 and corresponding revenue budget, for the purchase of laptop and Chromebook devices for a Public Lending Program at all Salinas Public Libraries, and further authorize the acceptance of funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Library and Community Services Director is hereby authorized to take whatever additional action may be necessary to effectuate the intent of this Resolution.
