RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH FIREFIGHTER INSPIRATION READINESS, LLC WHEREAS, the Salinas Fire Department uses the Incident Command System for emergency response and has a recognized need to train staff at all levels in this critical foundational system; and WHEREAS, the Department would like to improve their emergency response system by hiring Firefighter Inspiration Readiness, LLC to train fire staff; and WHEREAS, the Salinas Fire Department has $35,000 to cover the cost of the contract in their current Measure G appropriations. and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement for the proposed training from Firefighter Inspiration Readiness, LLC.
