RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOULTION OF THE SALINAS CITY COUNCIL ACCEPTING THE SALINAS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT RUNWAY 13-31 AND RUNWAY 8-26 REHABILITATION; CIP NO. 9275 (FAA AIP NO. 3-06-0206- 27) FOR MAINTENENACE AND RESPONSIBILITY WHEREAS, On September 18, 2018, the Salinas City Council awarded the Salinas Municipal Airport Runway 13-31 and Runway 8-26 Rehabilitation; CIP No. 9275 (FAA AIP No. 3-06-0206-27), to Maxwell Asphalt, Inc. (Maxwell); and WHEREAS, the project included: crack sealing, seal coating, and remarking of pavement on Runway 13-31. Additionally, the project included: Additive Alternative 1 – full depth reconstruction of a section of settled pavement on Runway 08-26; Additive Alternative 2 – rehabilitation of pavement on Taxiway D east of Runway 13-31; Additive Alternative 4 – rehabilitation of pavements on Taxiway J, Taxiway D, Taxiway G, Taxiway P, and Taxiway B; and WHEREAS, the project was substantially completed in July of 2019; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council accepts this project for maintenance and responsibility.
