RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH PARAGON TACTICAL FOR SERVICES RELATED TO A WARRANTY & MAINTENANCE PLUS PROGRAM WHEREAS, the initial warranty on the Police Service Range expires on February 28, 2022 and the City will need to contract for maintenance and repair services; and WHEREAS, the it is in the best interest of the City and Police Department to ensure the specialized and complex equipment within the Range is maintained and updated and upgraded as necessary; and WHEREAS, Paragon Tactical, the builder of the Police Service Range, offers a 60-month Warranty & Maintenance Plus Program to provide maintenance, repair, and upgrade of the Range as well as provision of consumable supplies; and WHEREAS, the Police Department has funds available within the current FY budget to support the costs associated with the 60-month Warranty & Maintenance Plus Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Salinas City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute an Agreement with Paragon Tactical, with total costs not to exceed $125,842, for the 60-month Warranty & Maintenance Plus Program for the Police Service Range.
