RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION THAT ACCEPTS THE COMPLETED JOB ORDERS UNDER THE ON-CALL JOB ORDER CONTRACT FOR SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS; CIP 9720 WHEREAS, on November 5, 2019, City Council awarded three (3) On-Call Job Order Contracts (JOC) for Sidewalk Improvements to Hemi’s Landscape and Concrete Inc., Golz Construction Inc., and C2 Builders Inc. through Resolution No. 201732; and WHEREAS, each On-Call Contract was awarded for a not-to-exceed maximum contract amount of $2,000,000 and a minimum contract amount of $50,000, and more specifically, each contract was awarded at the unit prices set forth and contained in the proposals for the On-Call Job Order Contract for Sidewalk Improvements of said successful bidders.; and WHEREAS, the following job orders have been assigned and completed under said On-Call Job Order Contracts: San Felipe St. JOC Sidewalk Repair and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Installation – COS-2020-9216.01, E. Alvin Dr. JOC Tree Removal – COS-2020-9720-01, John St. JOC Sidewalk Repair and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Installation – COS-2020-9720-02, Monte Bella JOC Street Sweeping Sign Installation – COS-2020-9120-01, and Summit Dr. and Hilltop Dr. JOC Sidewalk Repair and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Installation – COS-2020-9720-03; and WHEREAS, on March 6, 2020, the San Felipe St. JOC Sidewalk Repair and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Installation, COS-2020-9216-01, was authorized in the amount of $178,018. Job order quantities were increased to the total amount of $178,468. Job order was completed on September 17, 2020.; and WHEREAS, on June 12, 2020, the E. Alvin Dr. Tree Removal, COS-2020-9720-01, was authorized in the amount of $86,085. Job order was completed on August 20, 2020.; and WHEREAS, on July 16, 2020, the John St. JOC Sidewalk Repair and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Installation, COS-2020-9720-02, was authorized in the amount of $308,161. Job order quantities were adjusted the total amount of $303,673. Job order was completed on December 9, 2020.; and WHEREAS, on October 16, 2020, the Monte Bella JOC Street Sweeping Sign Installation, COS-2020-9120-01, was authorized in the amount of $10,620. Job order was completed on November 4, 2020.; and WHEREAS, on December 14, 2020, the Summit Dr. and Hilltop Dr. JOC Sidewalk Repair and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Installation, COS-2020-9720-03, was authorized in the amount of $428,103.40. Job order quantities were adjusted to a total amount of $419,123.65. Job order was completed on September 2, 2021.; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council hereby accepts the following job orders completed under the On-Call Job Order Contracts for Sidewalk Improvements for maintenance and responsibility:
San Felipe St. JOC Sidewalk Repair and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Installation, COS-2020-9216-01; and E. Alvin Dr. JOC Tree Removal, COS-2020-9720-01; and
John St. JOC Sidewalk Repair and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Installation, COS-2020-9720-02; and Monte Bella JOC Street Sweeping Sign Installation, COS-2020-9120-01; and Summit/Hilltop JOC Sidewalk Repair and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Installation, COS-2020-9720-03.
