RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE TWO PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENTS TO INSTALL AND LICENSE CITYWORKS SOFTWARE WHEREAS, the City of Salinas owns 283 parcels of land, most of which include improvements including buildings, mechanical equipment, recreational equipment, utility infrastructure, and artwork; and WHEREAS, the City does not presently have the tools necessary to track the characteristics of these properties or any maintenance or improvement work done upon them; and WHEREAS, the City released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify software solutions that could assist the City in tracking both vital characteristics of properties as well as workflow for maintenance work; and WHEREAS, after reviewing the responses to the RFP, City staff recommends that the City license CityWorks software for its property and asset management needs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council hereby approves the attached General Service Agreement with Centricity GIS LLC to install CityWorks software, as well as the attached License Agreement with Azteca Systems LLC, and hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to execute the same on behalf of the City of Salinas.
