FISCAL AND SUSTAINABILITY IMPACT:

Currently, the department does not have enough PPE to outfit any of the new recruits. An expedited purchase is needed to allow for continuous safe and efficient firefighting operations. Funds to purchase structural PPE are appropriated and available in the fiscal year 2022 CIP project 9527 budget.
