RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE HARTNELL COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT AND THE CITIES OF GONZALES, SOLEDAD, GREENFIELD, AND KING CITY TO CONTINUE SUPPORT OF THE FIVE CITIES PARTNERSHIP WHEREAS, the Five Cities Partnership is a partnership between the Hartnell Community College District and the Cities of Salinas, Gonzales, Soledad, Greenfield, and King City that was created in 2016 to support the development of employment training, with a focus on the healthcare and agricultural/agtech sectors; and WHEREAS, all parties of the Five Cities Partnership wish to continue their partnership along the terms and conditions specified in the attached Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council hereby approves the attached MOU and authorizes the City Manager to sign the MOU on behalf of the City of Salinas.
