RESOLUTION NO. 22062 (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DIRECT PURCHASE OF NEW 2022 FORD F-350
FLATBED DUMP
WHEREAS, Funds are available in 1000.55.6242-66.5500 ($49,992.12) and 1100.55.6242-66.5500 ($6,460.71) for a total $56,452.83 to purchase a new dump truck; and
WHEREAS, this truck is needed to continue the maintenance operations of the Library and Community Services Department; and
WHEREAS, Staff chose a 2022 F-350 from Salinas Valley Ford at a cost of $56,452.83; and
WHEREAS, this purchase meets the requirements of the City’s local purchasing preference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council authorizes the Purchasing Officer to purchase a new 2022 Ford F-350 Flatbed Dump truck from Salinas Valley Ford at a total cost of $56,452.83
