Dear Property Owner:
As indicated in prior notices, the City of Salinas has attempted to collect for outstanding administrative costs and other debt imposed that has not been satisfied in full, and/or has not been successfully challenged by a timely appeal. The City is now proceeding to recover those costs from you.
This letter is to serve as notice pursuant to Salinas City Code Section 1-05.41 that the Salinas City Council will hold a meeting on June 14, 2022, in the Council Chambers located at 200 Lincoln Avenue, Salinas, California, to adopt the 2022 Special Assessment for Collection of Unpaid Charges from Property Owners.
At this meeting, the City Council will be asked to approve charges for your outstanding administrative costs in the amount of $103.95. Should the Council adopt the Resolution, you will have 30 days to remit this amount to the City, or additional action will be taken by the City against you to recover these costs.
You may file a written protest or objection to the proposed special assessment charge with the City Council. The written protest must be submitted to the City Clerk by electronic mail to [email protected] or by first class mail at 200 Lincoln Avenue, Salinas, CA, 93901 no later than June 13, 2022. Late protests or objections will not be considered. If you wish to make a protest directly to City Council, you are encouraged to attend the meeting in person. Como se indicó en avisos anteriores, la Ciudad de Salinas ha intentado cobrar los costos administrativos pendientes y otras deudas impuestas que no se han pagado en su totalidad y / o no han sido impugnadas con éxito mediante una apelación oportuna. La Ciudad ahora está procediendo a recuperar esos costos de su parte.
Esta carta sirve como aviso de conformidad con la Sección 1 05.41 del Código de la Ciudad de Salinas .
El Concilio de la Ciudad de Salinas se reunirá el 14 de junio de 2022 en el ayuntamiento ubicado en 200 Lincoln Avenue, Salinas, California, para adoptar la Evaluación Especial 2022 para el Cobro de Cargos no Pagados por los Propietarios. En esta reunión, se le pedirá al Cocilio de la Ciudad que apruebe cargos por sus costos administrativos pendientes por la cantidad de $103.95.
