A RESOLUTION RATIFIING THE AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF SALIANS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS INC OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, The City of Salinas and Environmental Systems Inc entered into an agreement for repair and replacement of the HVAC equipment at fire station #4 under emergency pretense ; and WHEREAS, Fire station #4 has no heating or air flow to the living spaces due to one failure and one needing further inspection; and WHEREAS, Both units date to 1965 and are well beyond their life span; and WHEREAS, A contingency of up to ten percent be allowed for any price increase due to market volatility; and WHEREAS, Environmental Systems Inc provide a quote of $48,112.00 to replace the failed HVAC components at station #4; and WHEREAS, Fund are appropriated and available in 3911.45.9541-66.4000; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council hereby ratifies the agreement for service with Environmental Systems Inc at a cost of $48,112.
