RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE POLK ST JOC SIDEWALK REPAIR AND ADA PEDESTRIAN RAMP INSTALLATION, COS-2021-9720-01, JOB ORDER COMPLETED UNDER CIP 9720, ON-CALL JOB ORDER CONTRACT FOR SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, on November 5, 2019, City Council awarded three (3) On-Call Job Order Contracts (JOC) for Sidewalk Improvements to Hemi’s Landscape and Concrete Inc., Golz Construction Inc., and C2 Builders Inc. through Resolution No. 21732; and WHEREAS, each On-Call Contract was awarded for a not-to-exceed maximum contract amount of $2,000,000 and a minimum contract amount of $50,000, and more specifically, each Contract was awarded at the unit prices set forth and contained in the proposals for the On-Call Job Order Contract for Sidewalk Improvements of said successful bidders.; and WHEREAS, on November 29, 2021, the Polk St JOC Sidewalk Repair and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Installation, COS-2021-9720-01, was authorized in the amount of $452,704. Job order quantities were increased to a total amount to $462,217.
WHEREAS, the Polk St JOC Sidewalk Repair and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Installation project work and punch list were completed on May 09, 2022.; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council hereby accepts the Polk St JOC Sidewalk Repair and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Installation; COS-2021-9720-01 completed under CIP 9720, On-Call Job Order Contract for Sidewalk Improvements. for maintenance and responsibility.
