Dear City of Salinas City Council,
I am writing this letter to wholeheartedly recommend Jim Tashiro and stand with the recommendation the Board made to the City of Salinas in October of 2022. I have had the privilege of working with Mr. Tashiro since 2009 and he is an exceptional individual.
Jim Tashiro possesses skills in finance and agriculture which are vital to this organization. His attention to detail and ability to work under pressure have consistently impressed me, and he has always been able to find creative solutions to even the most complex problems.
In addition to his technical skills, Jim Tashiro is an excellent team player. He has a talent for building strong relationships with fellow board members and is always willing to lend a hand to help others. His positive attitude and infectious energy make him a pleasure to work with. The continuity of the Board is greatly dependent on his involvement.
I am confident that Jim still serves to be a valuable asset to our organization and I strongly recommend him for a term of four years.
