RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION OF THE SALINAS CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE STREET SWEEPING SIGNS PLAN FOR MONTE BELLA SUBDIVISION PHASE 5B WHEREAS, on June 19, 2018, City Council approved Resolution No. 21418 approving the final map for Monte Bella Subdivision Phase 5B; and WHEREAS, on December 7, 2021, City Council approved Resolution No. 22259 accepting Monte Bella Subdivision Phase 5B public improvements for maintenance and responsibility and accepting Etna Circle, Napoli Circle, Marsala Circle, Palermo Drive and Palermo Court into the City’s street system; and WHEREAS, the street sweeping signs plan for Monte Bella Subdivision Phase 5B was prepared to stay consistent with the Monte Bella street sweeping program; and WHEREAS, No Parking Street Sweeping signs allow street sweepers to access the curb to remove debris to improve the appearance of local streets and reduce pollutant runoff; and WHEREAS, on May 11, 2023, the Traffic and Transportation Commission voted (5-0) to recommend to City Council the approval of establishing street sweeping signs plan for Monte Bella Subdivision Phase 5B; and WHEREAS, The City of Salinas has determined that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines (Section 15301, Class 1(c)) because the actions consist of operation and minor alteration of an existing City street. There would be no significant effect on the environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council hereby approves the street sweeping signs plan for Monte Bella Subdivision Phase 5B.
