RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S)
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A REVISED
SALINAS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT RATES AND FEES SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, on June 13, 2023, the Salinas City Council held a duly noticed public hearing to consider proposed amendments Salinas Municipal Airport Rates and Fees Schedule; and WHEREAS, pursuant to City of Salinas Resolution No. 19296, it was resolved by the Salinas City Council that the Salinas Municipal Airport Rates and Fees shall be increased annually as recommended by City Staff; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is essential to support a process of adjusting Airport Rates and Fees to ensure that the Airport Enterprise Fund remains viable; and WHEREAS, at the March 23, 2023, Airport Commission Meeting, the Airport Commission recommended that the City Council approve the 2023 Airport Rates and Fees Schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of Salinas that the attached Airport Rates and Fees Schedule to this resolution is hereby adopted as the schedule of rates and fees for the Salinas Municipal Airport and will become effective August 1, 2023; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the schedule of rates and fees hereby adopted pursuant to this resolution shall be increased annually as recommended by City staff and the Salinas Airport Commission and approved by the Salinas City Council.
