AMENDMENT NUMBER 1 TO COMMUNITY IMPACT GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN
UNITED WAY MONTEREY COUNTY AND CITY OF SALINAS
This Amendment Number 2 ("Amendment") is entered into and effective 7/8/22 ("Effective Date"), by and between United Way Monterey County (UWMC) and City of Salinas (Grantee), and is made to that certain Community Impact Grant Agreement between UWMC and Grantee dated November 22, 2021 ("Agreement'').
Recitals
The Parties agree that a redistribution of funding is reasonable and in the best interests of the potential recipients of assistance under the Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
UWMC and Grantee agree as follows:
1. Grantee will adjust its allocation of Emergency Rental Assistance Program (round 2) direct assistance funds to be used by Grantee pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Agreement and this Addendum ("Additional Program Funds"). The funds will be adjusted as follows:

2. Grantee agrees to use the Additional Program Funds in the total amount of $300,000.00 pursuant to the terms of the Agreement and as follows: the amount of $300,000.00 shall be used in direct assistance to qualified recipients under the Program.
3. No further changes to the Agreement are made by this Addendum and in all other respects, the Agreement remains in full force and effect. Should there be a conflict between the terms and provisions of this Addendum and those of the Agreement, the terms and provisions of this Addendum shall govern.
This Addendum Number 1 is executed by the duly authorized representatives of United Way Monterey County and City of Salinas to be effective as of the Effective Date first set forth above.
