AMENDMENT NUMBER 2 TO COMMUNITY IMPACT GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN
UNITED WAY MONTEREY COUNTY AND CITY OF SALINAS
This Amendment Number 2 (“Amendment”) is entered into and effective 6/20/2023 (“Effective Date”), by and between United Way Monterey County (UWMC) and City of Salinas (Grantee), and is made to that certain Community Impact Grant Agreement between UWMC and Grantee dated November 22, 2021 (“Agreement”).
Recitals
The Parties agree that an extension to this agreement is reasonable and in the best interests of the potential recipients of assistance under the Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
UWMC and Grantee agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
Grant Agreement Term (“Agreement Term”) is extended to June 30th, 2024.
Grant Funds Distribution Period (“Distribution Period”) is extended to December 31st, 2023.
Final Report Due is extended to July 31st, 2024.
Section 3.1 is replaced with the following: Any undistributed Grant Funds designated as Direct Assistance held by Grantee as of the end of business on December 31st, 2023, shall be returned and paid to UWMC no later than June 30th, 2024.
Section 6.3 Final Report is replaced with the following: Grantee shall submit a final report to UWMC not later than July 30th, 2024.
This Amendment Number 2 is executed by the duly authorized representatives of United Way Monterey County and City of Salinas to be effective as of the Effective Date first set forth above.
