RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION OF THE SALINAS CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF APProximately 50 feet of 2-hOUR PARKING ZONE designations ALONG HOLADAY AVENUE AT 901 EAST ALISAL STREET WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 9, 2022, the Salinas City Council adopted a Resolution approving the 2022-2023 Special Curb Markings; and WHEREAS, City staff received a request from Elvin Marroquin, the owner of Trujillo Tax Services Inc. of 901 East Alisal Street, to install 2-hour parking zone designation along the business’ Holaday Avenue frontage; and WHEREAS, on June 8, 2023, the Traffic and Transportation Commission voted (4-1) to recommend to City Council to approve staff’s recommendation approximatley 50 feet of 2-hour parking zone designation along Holaday Avenue and 901 East Alisal Street to allow for a quick turnaround of parking spaces for customers to have access to businesses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council hereby amends Resolution No. 22445 approved on August 9, 2022, by approximately 50 feet of 2-hour parking zone designations along Holaday Avenue at 901 East Alisal Street.
