RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION OF THE SALINAS CITY COUNCIL ACCEPTING THE FRONT STREET/SHERWOOD DRIVE ADAPTIVE TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM CIP 9431, FOR MAINTENANCE AND RESPONSIBILITY WHEREAS, on September 6, 2022, the City awarded a construction contract to Bear Electrical Solutions, Inc. for the Front Street/Sherwood Drive Adaptive Traffic Control System Project in the amount of $585,870.00; and WHEREAS, construction began on March 6, 2023, and the contractor had 70 workings days to complete the project; and WHEREAS, the project was substantially complete on May 12, 2023, within contract time; and WHEREAS, final punch list work was completed on May 19, 2023; and WHEREAS, four change orders were processed during construction, totaling $3,993.00; and WHEREAS, the project was completed within the allocated CIP budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council hereby accepts the Front Street/Sherwood Drive Adaptive Traffic Control System Project CIP 9431, for maintenance and responsibility.
