The City’s local match contribution was $100,000 in Measure X revenue funds. On September 6, 2022, the City Council authorized an increase of $210,000 to CIP 9431 appropriation to purchase traffic signal equipment (Resolution No. 22469).
The project was advertised on June 20, 2022 and the City opened bids on July 26, 2022. Bear Electrical Solutions, Inc was the apparent low bidder. During construction, eight (8) days were considered non-working days due to adverse weather. As part of one of the contract change orders, an additional working day was granted extending the contract working days to 71. The project was deemed substantially complete on May 12, 2023, within contract time. Final punch list work was completed on May 19, 2023.
