CONSIDERATION
ID#23-394 General Plan Update Quarterly Report and Submittal of Draft 2023-2031 Housing Element Recommendation: Motion to recommend that the Salinas City Council approve a resolution authorizing the submittal of the Draft 2023-2031 Housing Element to the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for review.
ID#23-402 Emergency Rental Assistance Program Amendment and New Housing Stabilization Funds Agreement with United Way of Monterey County Note: Chair Rocha left the Rotunda for this item to avoid potential conflict of interest.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Housing and Land Use Committee support the proposed Emergency Rental Assistance Program Amendment with the United Way of Monterey County to initiate a Housing Stabilization Fund.
