Downtown Vibrancy Plan Parking Facility Design Discussion Wednesday, August 31, 2022, 4-5 PM
Salinas Council Chamber Rotunda
200 Lincoln Ave, Salinas CA
The City and County are collaborating on the implementation of the Downtown Vibrancy Plan (DVP). The DVP prioritizes the development of parking facilities in the downtown to allow for future development of existing surface parking lots as residential and commercial mixed-uses while addressing long-term parking needs.
Please join City and County staff to discuss the size, placement, and design elements of a joint parking facility the City and County are exploring at the southwest corner of Church and W. Gabilan Streets. It is important that any future parking facility is designed in a manner that is compatible with the surrounding neighborhood.
For those unable to attend, there will also be a survey available from September 1st to September 9th , 2022. The survey can be accessed at https://bit.ly/salinasparking or by using the QR code on this notice.
If you have any questions, please contact Economic Development Analyst Michael Gomez at [email protected] or 831.758.7986.
Your participation is critical to the succes sful DVP implementation and the vibrancy of the Salinas Downtown.
Thank you,
