A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE COMPLETION OF SCHEMATIC DESIGN FOR THE CLOSTER PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, the Parks, Recreation and Libraries Master Plan identified Closter Park as the highest ranked priority for renovation due to its location, high level of use and significance to the community; and WHEREAS, the renovation of Closter Park is also identified as a key priority for the Alisal Vibrancy Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved a Professional Services Agreement with BFS Landscape Architects for Project Management, Construction Management and Community Engagement assistance for the Closter Park Improvement project at its meeting of December 13, 2022; and WHEREAS, a community centered engagement strategy was implemented to develop the conceptual plans which were further refined to complete the Schematic Design; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SALINAS CITY COUNCIL that the Schematic Design Phase for the Closter Park Improvement project is hereby accepted.
