RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH CELLEBRITE, INC. FOR SOFTWARE SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES WHEREAS, the Salinas Police Department received an Organized Retail Theft (ORT) Prevention Grant for $3.57M to respond to the growing threat of organized retail crime and continuing high rate of motor vehicle theft; and WHEREAS, the ORT Grant includes funds to support the Computer Forensics Unit through the subscription of Cellebrite software through December 31, 2026; and WHEREAS, the Salinas Police Department has secured a quote for Cellebrite software subscription services to be utilized for the duration of grant activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council authorizes the Interim City Manager to execute an Agreement with Cellebrite, Inc. for software subscriptions, and associated hardware, for the term February 1, 2024, through December 31, 2026 with a total cost not to exceed $297,433.12.
