RESOLUTION NO. _______(N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NUMBER 2 TO THE INTEGRATED REGIONAL WATER MANAGEMENT SUB-GRANT DISBURSEMENT WITH M1W WHEREAS, the City of Salinas in coordination with Monterey One Water and the Central Coast Wetlands Group secured a grant for $1.13 million from the Proposition 1 California Department of Water Resources Integrated Regional Water Management Program (Salinas IRWM Grant).; and WHEREAS, the City of Salinas and M1W entered into a subgrant agreement on February 16, 2021; and WHEREAS, the City and M1W approved amendment number 1 to extend the term of the agreement to April 1, 2025; and WHEREAS, M1W has bid the 33-inch pipe evaluation and received a bid that is more than the original agreement; and WHEREAS, the City has identified Proposition 1 Round 2 grant money in the amount of $392,221.22 that can be used for the 33-inch pipe evaluation; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Salinas, that the Proposition 1 Integrated Regional Water Management Sub-Grant Disbursement Agreement Amendment Number 2 between the City of Salinas M1W is hereby approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Amendment on behalf of the City.
