RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
RESOLUTION APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH PUBLIC SAFETY CADETS WHEREAS, the Salinas Police Department has had a youth Explorer Program since the 1960’s; and WHEREAS, the Salinas Police Department is transitioning to a new partnership organization known as the Public Safety Cadets, a Commonwealth of Virginia Nonstock, Nonprofit, Corporation; and WHEREAS, the Salinas Police Department is requesting approval to execute the necessary Memorandum of Understanding with Public Safety Cadets to provide governance, guidance and standard operating procedures to assist the Salinas Police Department in the operations of the youth Police Cadet Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council authorizes the Interim City Manager to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with Public Safety Cadets.
