A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE SALE OF JET WEST INC. TO IMPERIAL AVIATION, LLC. AT THE SALINAS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT AND CONSENTING TO THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT FROM JET WEST INC. TO IMPERIAL AVIATION, LLC WHEREAS, Jet West, Inc. desires to enter into the stock sale of Jet West LLC (“Jet West”) to Imperial Aviation, LLC, dba Gate One (“Gate One”) and consenting to the assignment of the Lease Agreement and related permits and agreements; and WHEREAS, Jet West intends to sell their operations to Gate One and has requested the City to consent to the assignment of the Lease Agreement and all related permits and agreements to Gate One so that Gate One may commence operations at the Airport and take over the space currently occupied by Jet West.
WHEREAS, The Lease Agreement allows Jet West to assign its interest in the Lease Agreement subject to the City’s prior consent.
WHEREAS, at the April 25, 2024 Airport Commission meeting, the Airport Commission recommended City Council approve the sale of Jet West to Gate One.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that City Council consents to the assignment of the Lease Agreement from Jet West Inc. to Imperial Aviation, LLC.
