A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SALINAS AND R3 CONSULTING GROUP, INC.
WHEREAS, on October 1, 2021 the City of Salinas finalized a Franchise Agreement with Allied Services of North America, LLC dba Republic Services of Salinas (Republic Services); and WHEREAS, R3 Consulting Group Inc. is intimately familiar with the nuances of the Franchise Agreement, having facilitated the City’s negotiations with Republic Services; and WHEREAS, on December 14, 2021, the City entered into an agreement with R3 Consulting Group, Inc.; and WHEREAS, on November 22, 2022, Amendment No. 1 was signed to extend the completion date to June 30, 2024; and WHEREAS, on May 10, 2024, Amendment No. 2 was signed to extend the completion date to December 31, 2024 and to add additional scope of work; and WHEREAS, the City needs to complete a Performance Review of Republic Services; and WHEREAS, the combination of Amendment No. 2 and Amendment No.3 would allow R3 Consulting Group to complete a full Performance Review of Republic Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALINAS, that Amendment No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of Salinas and R3 Consulting for a performance review of Republic Services in the amount of $51,000 is hereby approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim City Manager of Salinas is hereby authorized and directed, for and on behalf of the City of Salinas, and as its act and deed, to execute the attached Amendment No. 3.
