I'm a long time resident of Salinas. I am a homeowner, and I have two grown kids who went through the school systems here. I have many clients who work in the fields, some trimming or tending marijuana.

I support the CannaCruz business coming to Salinas. I've been to their site in Santa Cruz and it is a very nice clean business. I think in general we should be embracing this industry as part of our agricultural culture. There is a lot of money in this rising field, and our public schools and public recreational systems can use this money. We have so much infrastructure (pot holes!!!) that can use more money.

Thank you for your consideration.
