A RESOLUTION OT'TIIE SALINAS CITY COUNCILAWARDING CONTRACTS F
LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS WHERLAS, on June 22, 2021 the City Council pursuant to Resolution No. (i.{.C.S.) approved specifications for the Affrual Maintenance Districts' Landscape Services; and WHEREAS, representatives of the City Clerk of Salinas on May 25, 2021, via a Zoom meeting, held at the city Yard conference Room at 426 work Street, Salinas, califomia, publicly opened, and read the results ofthe bids downloaded through Planebids, examined, and declared the proposals delivered to or filed with said City Clerk for the Harden Ranch Maintenance District Landscape Services; the North./East Maintenance District Landscape Services; the Monte Bella Maintenance District Landscape Services; and the Mira Monte, Airport and woodside Maintenance Districts' Landscape Service, in accordance with the specifications for such work filed in the office of said City Clerk on June 10, 2021, arld now on file in said offrce; and OR
WHEREAS, for the Harden Ranch Maintenance District, the lowest bidder, B Landscape Services, Inc. submitted a total annual bid of $51,933.96 and suffrcient available to award the contract: and

WIIEREAS, for the North/East Maintenance District, the lowest bidder, Smith & ght Landscape Company submitted a total annual bid of$31 8,480.00 and to award the contract; and

WHEREAS, for the Monte Bella Maintenance District, the lowest bidder, Smith & Endght Landscaping Company submitted a total annual bid of $47,940 and sufficient funds are available to award the contract; and
WHEREAS, for the Mira Monte, Airport and Woodside Maintenance Districts, the lowest bidder, Brighwiew Landscape Service, Inc. submitted a total annual bid of $48,579.96 and suffrcient funds are available to award the contract: and WHEREAS, City staffthereupon reported the results of the propos Council at its regular meeting on June 22,2021, and the Council in open examined the report of staff.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Corlncil that pursuant to Salinas Municipal Code section 12-21, in reference to the Harden Ranch Maintenance Di Landscape Services contract, that all ofsaid proposals are rejected except the proposal of Brighwiew Landscape Service, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Harden Ranch District's Successful Bidder"), being the lowest and best bid, which is hereby accepted.
