RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT CHANGE ORDERS NO. 3-10 FOR A TOTAL OF $280,517.32 FOR THE CITYWIDE SIDEWALK REPAIR PROJECT, CIP NO. 9720
WHEREAS, on January 10, 2023, pursuant to Resolution No. 22559 (N.C.S.), City Council awarded the Citywide Sidewalk Repair Project to JJR Construction Inc. for $3,761,531.32. and authorized change orders up to an additional $750,000; and WHEREAS, the Contractor has completed 33 street segments of sidewalk repairs and ADA installation; and WHEREAS, additional work which was not quantifiable at the time of award was also completed totaling $280,517.32; and WHEREAS, the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act guideless (Section 15301(c), Class I).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council approves Contract Change Orders No. 3 through 10 for a total of $280,517. 32 to JJR Construction Inc for the Citywide Sidewalk Repair Project, CIP 9720.
